Using Nexus Mutual
The rest of the documentation explains how the Mutual works. This section covers the things members actually do.
- Become a member: join the Nexus Mutual DAO
- Buy cover: protect a position against a risk
- Place a limit order: buy or renew cover automatically at your price
- Stake NXM: underwrite risk and earn a share of cover fees
- Run a staking pool: create a staking pool and price its listings
- Swap NXM: swap ETH for NXM, or wrap NXM to wNXM
- File a claim: claim on cover after a loss
- Vote on proposals: vote on Snapshot, and onchain to replace an Advisory Board member
Most of this happens in the Nexus Mutual app. Snapshot votes happen in the Nexus Mutual DAO Snapshot space. Becoming a member comes first, and the other guides need an active membership.
These pages describe what you need, what happens, and what to expect. They avoid walking through screens, which change more often than the process does.
