Become a member

Membership is required before you can buy cover, stake NXM, vote, or file a claim. See Membership for the fee, the eligibility rules, and what membership grants.

Before you start​

Read the membership agreement and check the restricted jurisdictions list. Membership is held by a single wallet address, and you can change it later. See Membership for how.

Connect your wallet​

Go to the Nexus Mutual app and connect your wallet. You need a connected wallet before you can start identity verification.

Verify your identity​

Complete identity verification in the app. Choose individual or company verification, then submit the requested documents.

Wait for approval​

The app shows your verification status as the review progresses. Approval activates the next step, paying the membership fee.

Join onchain​

Pay the 0.0020 ETH membership fee to join onchain. This is a one-time fee, and your membership activates once the transaction confirms.
